BNP Paribas Economic Research Department is a worldwide function, part of Corporate and Investment Banking, at the service of both the Bank and its customers. The department is composed of 3 teams: The OECD countries research team focuses on analysing and forecasting developed economies within the economic research department : structural fundamentals, cyclical developments, fiscal and monetary policies, interest rates, exchange rates… The emerging economies and country risk team is in charge of analysing emerging countries, with a special focus on country risk. The Banking Economics team is responsible for undertaking research in the field of banking and finance, and for short and medium term forecast of banking activities.
